The Odin Project
Project Overview
Starting summer of 2024 I took on the odin project in order to develop neccessary skills for my journey to become a fullstack developer. So far in this project I have significantly improved my skills in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and started to learn new languages and models such as Express.js, Node.js, and React.js. I am currently working my way through the lessons and creating projects as I go along to showcase and reflect on.

This was my first creation in the project which I created after finishing the intermediate / advanced HTML / CSS / Javascript section. I had previous experience in website building from scrath, however doing this course was a good refresher.
The site I created, JavaHaven (name from chatgpt) is the website for a made up coffee shop featuring its menu, history, and location / information. I wanted to create something I had no personal relation to in order to eliminate design bias, and since I don’t drink coffee I wasn’t familiar with coffee menus, coffee items, and coffee themes making this a completely new design for myself.
